The latest Marca Corona collections cater to the needs of modern hospitality by offering surfaces that aim to create unique and distinctive atmospheres. Arkigem reimagines the sophistication of stone, while Miniature Rima enhances small 3D tiles.
Arkigem: Elegant Ceramic Stone
Marca Corona presents Arkigem, a collection that modernizes the essence of natural stone. Inspired by Ceppo di Sicilia, this porcelain stoneware series features a refined surface adorned with diverse fragments in a visually appealing harmony. Suitable for floors and walls, indoors and outdoors, Arkigem is perfect for hospitality ventures seeking elegance and individuality. Available in five colors and various sizes, including the generous 120×278 cm slab, Arkigem blends technical reliability with aesthetic finesse. The finishes, Natural, Grip, and Structured, ensure safety and longevity in high-traffic areas like lobbies, spas, restaurants, and premium suites.
Miniature Rima: Impactful Small-Scale Design
Expanding the Miniature line, Miniature Rima introduces a new decorative choice in the 6×24 cm format. Its unique 3D relief, featuring a double groove, crafts dynamic surfaces with a play of glossy and matte textures. This visual and tactile depth transforms any wall into a striking design element. Available in ten colors, Miniature Rima allows for flexible and personalized arrangements, catering specifically to the creative demands of contemporary hospitality. Ideal for curved structures, niches, and accent walls, it showcases meticulous attention to detail and site-specific character.
Through Arkigem and Miniature Rima, Marca Corona solidifies its dedication to hospitality design: collections that exude personality, technical prowess, and aesthetic excellence, narrating a fresh tale of Italian-style warmth, sentiment, and quality.
Marca Corona: A Ceramic Icon
Established in 1741 as the “Fabbrica della Majolica,” Marca Corona stands as the oldest ceramic company in the Sassuolo district. Focused on porcelain stoneware floor and wall coverings alongside white-body tiles, it distinguishes itself through its rich history and diverse product range — from small formats to grand slabs. Since 1982, Marca Corona has been a part of the Concorde Group, Europe’s leading ceramic entity with wholly Italian roots. Its manufacturing facility spans 200,000 m², set to be complemented by a state-of-the-art, energy-independent logistics hub in 2024. With an annual production capacity of 7.5 million m², of which 75% is destined for international markets, the company presently employs 250 individuals.
Deeply intertwined with the art realm and a keeper of local heritage, Marca Corona unveiled the Galleria Marca Corona in 2010 — Italy’s sole corporate museum dedicated to the Sassuolo ceramic district. In 2022, it introduced the Marca Corona per l’Arte initiative and the Marca Corona Prize, supporting artists under 35.
