SpaceX successfully launched 23 Starlink satellites into orbit from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station’s Pad 40 in Florida at 1:19 p.m. on Saturday. The Falcon 9 rocket’s first-stage booster landed on the company’s drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean. This marked the booster’s 24th mission, including missions to the International Space Station and Starlink missions. SpaceX has achieved 451 booster landings since December 2015. The launch took place amidst a severe thunderstorm warning in the area. This was the 44th Starlink launch of the year from Florida. SpaceX is also preparing for the launch of the fourth private astronaut mission to the International Space Station from the Kennedy Space Center on June 8.
