On Friday, SpaceX successfully launched 27 Starlink V2 Mini satellites into low-Earth orbit from California. The Falcon 9 flight, originally scheduled for Thursday night, was delayed without explanation. The rocket took off from Vandenberg Space Force Base’s Pad 4E at 3:32 p.m. PDT. The first stage booster landed on the droneship, “Of Course I Still Love You,” in the Pacific Ocean about eight minutes after liftoff. This marked the 450th successful landing of a Falcon 9 rocket from California or Florida. The booster used for this launch has flown 18 times, including 14 Starlink missions. SpaceX’s last Starlink satellite launch from California was on May 16, with the next one scheduled from Florida on Saturday at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station Pad 40 at 1:19 p.m. EDT.
