Chinese manufacturer SolarEast has introduced a new line of residential heat pumps, with heating capacities ranging from 4 kW to 16 kW and a coefficient of performance of up to 5.05. The heat pump systems are designed to seamlessly integrate with solar panels and battery storage, providing users with an energy-independent heating and cooling solution. The QuietEdge R290 series utilizes propane as the refrigerant and offers six models to suit various needs. These systems are capable of achieving high energy efficiency ratios and can operate within specific temperature ranges for optimal performance. Additionally, the modular design allows multiple systems to be interconnected to provide a heating capacity of up to 100 kW. SolarEast emphasizes the product’s quiet operation and energy efficiency, making it suitable for noise-sensitive environments like residential communities, schools, and hospitals.
