Michelle Obama and Many Others Interested in Renting Spare Room of Airbnb CEO – I Would Too If I Was Single!

Michelle Obama shared on her podcast, ‘IMO,’ that if she were single, she would head straight to the Airbnb CEO’s house because he is offering a room for rent on the platform. On the podcast, Michelle and her brother, Craig Robinson, chatted with Brian Chesky, the co-founder and CEO of Airbnb, discussing the room available for Airbnb users to rent and stay with Chesky in his home.

Chesky mentioned meeting some very nice people through this arrangement, including one person who repeatedly refreshed the booking page to secure a stay with him. Michelle confessed that she understood the appeal, as she too would be interested in such a bed and breakfast situation at Brian’s place if she were single.

During the conversation, Brian shared that Michelle and her husband, former President Barack Obama, have attempted to set him up before, with Michelle expressing her investment in his love life. While mainly couples have shown interest in staying with Chesky, Michelle seems to be the only one with the idea of a potential romantic connection.

The lighthearted exchange does not suggest any romantic involvement between Michelle and the Airbnb CEO, as she remains happily married to Barack, despite ongoing divorce rumors. Interestingly, Chesky’s Airbnb is decorated with items related to the company, including a box of “Obama O’s” cereal, a novelty product originally sold by Brian and his team to fund Airbnb.

In a tweet, Chesky announced that his actual home is now listed on Airbnb, with him present when guests are staying. Perhaps Michelle and Barack could consider a couple’s trip to San Francisco to reconnect, as there is at least one place where they would likely receive a warm welcome.
