Rapper Kid Cudi to Testify at Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Sex Trafficking Trial

Rapper Kid Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, is reportedly set to testify against Sean “Diddy” Combs on Wednesday, according to Complex. It is not clear what Mescudi’s testimony will involve or how long he will be on the stand.

Mescudi was previously involved with Cassie Ventura, who dated Combs from 2007 to 2018. Ventura claimed Combs kicked her in the back in 2011 upon discovering she was cheating on him with Mescudi. She also alleged that Combs threatened to blow up Mescudi’s car and release sexually explicit videos of her.

After Mescudi’s Porsche was set on fire in California in January 2012, Ventura mentioned the incident to Combs, who responded by asking, “What vehicle?” Ventura testified that during their 10-year relationship, Combs controlled her appearance and physically abused her.

Another witness, Daniel Phillip, claimed he was paid to have sex with Ventura while Combs watched and masturbated. Phillip recounted instances where Combs threw objects at Ventura and physically assaulted her.

Combs was arrested in 2024 on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and prostitution. He has been denied bail multiple times due to the risk of witness tampering. Federal authorities raided Combs’ homes as part of a sex trafficking investigation.

Multiple accusers have come forward with allegations of sexual abuse against Combs, including claims of drugging and rape. Combs has been accused in at least 30 lawsuits alleging sexual abuse. His trial is anticipated to last two months.
