The current exhibitions at Froelick Gallery feature the works of Tom Prochaska and the return of Brian Kershisnik after two decades. Prochaska’s “Second Line” exhibition, spanning from 1970 to the present year, showcases his unique blend of observational and intuitive artistry that challenges viewers to delve into meaning. Throughout his life, Prochaska has approached art with a distinctive style, moving between observational studies and a stream-of-consciousness method, where each brushstroke builds upon the last. Kershisnik’s “Finding a Place” exhibition explores personal memory and place, prompting reflection on our own narratives and the beauty of change.

Both exhibitions will be on display from April 16th to May 31st. Froelick Gallery prides itself on showcasing and supporting contemporary artists with distinct voices, spanning from the Pacific Northwest to the Gulf Coast, Brooklyn, and Tokyo. With a diverse range of talent and genres, the gallery presents fresh exhibitions each month and hosts public receptions on First Thursdays. The gallery’s staff is experienced in art acquisition, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. Established in 1995, Froelick Gallery has become a vital part of the vibrant art scene, housed in the historic DeSoto Building on NW Davis Street.
