Quebec utility targets 3 GW of solar by 2035

Hydro-Quebec, a government-owned utility company, has announced a strategy to generate 11 gigawatts of renewable energy over the next ten years, with 3 gigawatts coming from solar power. The company is preparing to launch a 300-megawatt solar tender, specifically targeting individual projects not exceeding 25 megawatts in size.
