Upon arriving at a Palos Park church to pick up his daughters from day care, JJ Glavan noticed a strong smell of burnt rubber. He soon learned that his youngest daughter was involved in a crash at the church. She was covered in blood but seemed relatively unscathed. The crash occurred when a driver suffered a medical emergency and crashed into the church building. Two children remained hospitalized, while one had been released. Two police officers were also hospitalized. Glavan’s daughter had to receive stitches and suffered minor injuries. The family is still processing the incident and focusing on their daughter’s recovery. The community has come together to support those affected by the crash.
