Nvidia’s CEO Jensen Huang participated in a gathering called “Investing in America,” hosted by President Donald Trump in Washington on April 30, 2025.

American technology giants Nvidia, Cisco, Oracle, and OpenAI have shown their support for the recently announced artificial intelligence data center named “UAE Stargate,” as per sources familiar with the deal on Friday. Nvidia, a key player in AI chips, will be providing hardware equipped with the latest Blackwell GB300 systems for the project. The UAE Stargate initiative is linked to a similar AI infrastructure project in the U.S. that was introduced by President Trump during his early days in office.

Oracle is also reported to be part of the UAE Stargate project, which is being developed in Abu Dhabi by Emirati company G42, according to the U.S. Commerce Department. This extensive data center will cover 10 square miles and have a 5-gigawatt capacity.

During his state visit to the UAE, President Trump also visited Saudi Arabia. Nvidia’s CEO Jensen Huang, OpenAI’s CEO Sam Altman, SoftBank’s CEO Masayoshi Son, and Cisco’s President Jeetu Patel were also present in the UAE during the visit. However, Cisco, Nvidia, and OpenAI declined to provide any comments on the matter.

The initial stage of the UAE Stargate project will involve a 1-gigawatt compute cluster, as per information from the Trump administration. Additionally, OpenAI has expressed interest in establishing U.S. Stargate data center campuses in 16 different states, including Texas, California, and New York.

Nvidia recently announced a deal to supply 18,000 Blackwell chips to Saudi company Humain for data centers in Saudi Arabia. This move aligns with Humain’s commitment of $10 billion to the project.
