IRIS Chain, a company working on a cutting-edge healthcare system, has recently secured a substantial amount of financial backing in a funding round. On March 25, the company announced a major milestone in its project journey, revealing a $20 million Series A funding round led by Black Diamond. Despite the challenging conditions in the cryptocurrency market, Black Diamond successfully raised $20 million for IRIS Chain, an innovative iris-scanning cryptocurrency project focused on global digital identity access.

Founded in 2022, IRIS Chain is an AI-powered Deep Learned digital identity platform aiming to create a universal digital identification system using advanced eyeball-scanning technology. The company recently introduced the IRIS App, a digital wallet designed to expand digital identity and global finance availability. Tailored to the IRIS ecosystem, the IRIS App enables users to authenticate with IRIS ID, acquire iris tokens, and seamlessly send digital money.

In a recent update, IRIS Chain announced its adoption of GDPR (Global Data Protection Regulation) to enhance its systems and services. By creating a decentralized identity verification system that prioritizes user privacy, IRIS Chain aims to introduce methods that could improve fairness, social interaction, and trust. The integration of GDPR is a significant step towards revolutionizing the healthcare platform integrated with blockchain.

To support the development of the IRIS App, expertise in AI and finance was sought. Notably, Mr. Yeom, an AI expert, and Matsuoka Hideo, a finance specialist, were recruited alongside Sakamoto Taro to establish a top-tier AI platform for future investment and operation.

Furthermore, the IRIS App plans to offer affordable health checkup services for students through collaborations with universities in Japan, as well as health checkup services through pharmacy chains in Vietnam. Currently, millions of personal health assessments are being conducted through hospital chains in China, with plans to expand services to the US and globally in the future.
