Marshneil Bharadwaj Named General Manager for the Andaz 5th Avenue Hotel in New York City

Andaz Hotels has appointed Marshneil Bharadwaj as the new General Manager of Andaz 5th Avenue. With extensive experience across four continents and a leadership style focused on people-first values, Marshneil is recognized for her inquisitiveness, perseverance, and genuine hospitality approach. Her deep interest in travel and cultural immersion has influenced her perspective and management style.

Having spent nearly two decades at Hyatt, Marshneil brings a wealth of global expertise and thoughtful hospitality to Manhattan, where she has resided since 2022. Her career has taken her from roles in guest relations and boutique consulting at The Oberoi Raj Vilas and Le Meridien hotels to Rooms experience at Hyatt Regency and Grand Hyatt Dubai, and overseeing operations at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar in the Bahamas.

Marshneil’s professional journey led her to New York City in 2022, where she joined Gild Hall, a Thompson Hotel, within the lifestyle portfolio as Hotel Manager. Her strong leadership and strategic vision quickly led to her promotion to General Manager in August 2023, driving success and operational excellence at the hotel.

In her new position as General Manager at Andaz 5th Avenue, Marshneil will manage all hotel operations, lead strategic planning and guest experience initiatives, and contribute to the continued growth of the iconic Midtown property. Focusing on Andaz’s fundamental brand values that emphasize self-expression and individuality through unique, experiential travel, Marshneil will play a key role in refreshing hotel programming and forming partnerships.
