The “Fencing Plus” Training Programme, sponsored by CTF Life and organized by Kai Tak Sports Initiative (KTSI), officially began at the Kai Tak Arena Grand Hall on May 4, 2025. The program aims to identify potential fencing athletes in Hong Kong, nurture a new generation of sports elites, and promote a culture of “Sports for All.” Qualified participants will undergo close to two years of structured training and have the opportunity to compete in the “Fencing Plus” Cup and potentially join the Hong Kong Under-14 Cadet Pre-team.
Over a thousand applications were received for the program, including children from underprivileged families who received full support from CTF Life. The selection process included physical fitness assessments for about 800 registered students on the Kick-Off Day. The program will offer various workshops and training sessions to help participants develop their skills.
CTF Life is the exclusive Founding Insurance Partner of KTSP and will continue to support its efforts to bring international events to Hong Kong. CTF Life • CIRCLE members will have priority access to sports and entertainment events, as well as community service initiatives.
The program consists of five stages, starting with selection in May 2025 and concluding with the CTF Life “Fencing Plus” Cup and Celebration in December 2025. CTF Life is a subsidiary of CTF Services Limited and aims to become a leading insurance company in Asia.
