Reading Truck has introduced two new crane bodies suitable for Class 4 and 5 trucks.
The RM25 Crane Body comes in a 9-foot length, while the RM-35 can be ordered in 9 or 11 feet.
The RM-25 is ideal for medium lifting tasks, supporting cranes of up to 5,000 pounds. On the other hand, the RM-35 is designed to accommodate electric cranes lifting up to 6,000 pounds, one of the highest capacities for electric cranes, according to the company.
The RM-25 is constructed with a sturdy 6-inch steel understructure, while the RM-35 features a heavy-duty torsion box understructure, as outlined by Reading. The company states that both models can be paired with most top cranes and are equipped with manual (RM-25) or electric outriggers (RM-35).
Both crane bodies come with a work-bench bumper, a spray lined bed, and an integrated headache rack to enhance safety and functionality.
Recommended Class 4 chassis for the RM-25 include Ford F-450, GM 4500HD, Chevrolet 4500, Ram 4500, International CV. For the RM-35, the recommended Class 5 chassis are Ford F-550, Chevrolet 5500, Ram 5500, International CV.
