House panel advances sweeping bill of Trump immigration priorities

House Republicans moved forward with a bill on Wednesday that supports several of President Trump’s immigration goals. The legislation increases fees for individuals seeking asylum in the United States and provides additional resources for detaining and deporting a high number of migrants.
