Melbourne’s Deputy Lord Mayor shares city’s path forward at PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Australia) launch

Deputy Lord Mayor Roshena Campbell of Melbourne aligns with the value of excellence celebrated by PropertyGuru’s Awards Series. The 8th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Australia) for 2025 is now open for entries, showcasing Australia’s real estate markets, including Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. The Awards highlight innovative developments in established hubs and emerging cities.

The official launch event took place in Melbourne on 9 April, with Deputy Lord Mayor Campbell representing the City of Melbourne. The event emphasized the Awards’ role in driving innovation and investment in Australia’s real estate sector. Deputy Lord Mayor Campbell shared Melbourne’s vision for long-term development and multicultural opportunities, promoting the city as an attractive destination for investment, education, and living.

The Awards program expanded to Brisbane, reflecting the country’s growing property market beyond traditional urban centers. The Awards aim to recognize excellence and innovation in Australian real estate, with the Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony scheduled for September in Sydney.

The Awards are part of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards series, recognizing excellence in the Asian property sector. Winners of the Australia awards may compete at the Grand Final in Bangkok, Thailand. The Awards seek to showcase world-class projects and celebrate developers from key property destinations across the Asia-Pacific region.
