Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti Unveils Sustainable Updates and Elevated Guest Accommodations

The Four Seasons Safari Lodge in the Serengeti has recently completed a series of renovations, solidifying its status as a top destination for travelers looking for an unmatched safari experience in the renowned wildlife park. The renovation project began in 2024 with the introduction of a new dining experience called Light, a sophisticated steak-house restaurant with Tanzanian-inspired dishes. Along with Light, the Lodge also introduced a new private dining venue called The Vineyard, featuring curated five and seven-course wine-paired menus.

In line with its commitment to providing top-notch accommodations, the Lodge has revamped all 72 guest rooms and five villas, drawing inspiration from Maasai traditions. The designs incorporate local craftsmanship, blending kitenge fabric patterns with white linen and oiled leather to evoke a sense of adventure and exploration.

To minimize its environmental impact, the Lodge has replaced natural thatching with eco-conscious synthetic materials and implemented Tanzania’s largest solar farm in 2024. Future upgrades will enhance the Maji Restaurant and Bar, offering guests a serene setting to enjoy Serengeti sunsets after a day of safari adventures.
