This poses immense risks as we witness the escalating impacts of climate change such as wildfires, hurricanes, rising sea levels, and extreme heat due to the failure of nations to take sufficient action. Despite these challenges, cities, communities, and individuals are making a difference in addressing the climate crisis, demonstrating that a greener, healthier lifestyle is achievable and beneficial.

As we commemorate the 55th Earth Day and the 20th anniversary of the C40 Cities group, there is hope in the efforts of cities worldwide to combat climate change.
