Atlas wins crewing contract for Noble’s Suriname drilling campaign

Atlas Professionals has secured a crewing contract from Noble Corporation for their upcoming drilling campaign in Suriname. The contract involves providing crew members for the Noble Developer rig, along with logistics, training, and immigration support. This collaboration strengthens the long-standing partnership between Atlas and Noble, showcasing their dedication to offering workforce solutions in challenging markets. Atlas plans to not only deploy local Surinamese crew but also invest in developing talent through their Greenhand Offshore Program. The Noble Developer rig, with a drilling depth of 40,000 feet, will be used for the campaign, which is set to begin in June 2025 and last for 200 days. Additionally, Shell has also selected the rig for a drilling project in the Americas starting in July 2026, as per Noble’s fleet status report.
