The last Xfinity Series race at Rockingham Speedway was in 2004, won by Jamie McMurray. Notably, only a few drivers from that race are still active in NASCAR, including Martin Truex Jr., Mike Harmon, Greg Biffle on a part-time basis, and Kyle Busch, who remains a full-time Cup Series racer.
