The Greenlink Interconnector consists of a pair of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) cables stretching over the Irish Sea to link the electricity grids of Ireland and the United Kingdom. The connection is made at the Great Island substation in County Wexford and the Pembroke substation in Pembrokeshire, Wales.
