Sabrina Carpenter made a significant impact last year. Despite starting her career on a TV show years ago (akin to former Disney Channel star Selena Gomez), she only recently rose to fame in the world of pop music. Last summer, she performed as one of the opening acts for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, and her hit song “Espresso” dominated the charts for weeks. The tune is so infectious that I challenge you not to hum it as you read this article.

Naturally, Sabrina has been all over the internet. In an interview with LADbible, she confessed that she has never dined at McDonald’s. Surprising, right? What’s even more intriguing is that she has a particular milestone she wants to reach before trying her first Big Mac.

Why is Sabrina Carpenter holding off on a McDonald’s meal?

Initially, when I learned that Sabrina had never eaten at McDonald’s, two thoughts crossed my mind. Firstly, I pondered whether she believed McDonald’s wasn’t very healthy. Secondly, I pitied the fact that she hadn’t experienced the delight of a flawless McDonald’s hash brown!

However, as per the interview, it’s not that she doesn’t desire to eat beneath the golden arches. It’s simply that she is waiting for a specific accomplishment before treating herself to it.

It didn’t take long for fans to connect the dots and speculate that Sabrina was waiting to earn her first Grammy before biting into a Snack Wrap. The LADbible interview occurred in 2024, and Sabrina clinched not one but two Grammys at the February 2025 awards ceremony.

In terms of professional aspirations, there’s hardly a greater accolade for a musician than winning a Grammy, so it’s reasonable to assume that this career milestone signifies her long-awaited visit to McDonald’s. Let’s see if she relishes the “Flavor” of a McMuffin as much as the rest of the world does!
