Kaito AI Emerges as a Key Gateway for Major Airdrops

Kaito AI gained rapid popularity with its “Yap-to-Earn” concept, attracting numerous users who earned substantial rewards through airdrop campaigns. However, criticism emerged after the launch of its KAITO token due to concerns about its practical use. In response, Kaito is now making significant structural changes to rebuild its ecosystem and regain community trust.

The “Yap-to-Earn” initiative by Kaito AI, introduced in December 2024, generated high engagement on Platform X. By sharing partner project content on social media, users could earn Yap Points and qualify for airdrops from partners like Initia and Wayfinder. Kaito’s AI-driven scoring system assessed content quality, user engagement, and network influence to ensure fair rewards based on the number of posts, interactions, and credibility.

Many users reported earning significant amounts through the program, such as Wayfinder (PROMPT) users receiving 5,000–20,000 $PROMPT tokens for active participation. By engaging in narrative threads and community prompts, users like those involved in Morpheus (MOR) activities earned 3,000-8,000 MOR tokens. Additionally, users benefitted from airdrops from projects like Beraich and Story Protocol for their social contributions.

Kaito’s KAITO token faced criticism for its limited utility and disconnect from the ecosystem’s rewarding activities, leading to concerns among users. To address this, Kaito is revamping its Kaito Connect platform to balance incentives and fairness by combining Yap points and staked KAITO tokens. This update aims to align the interests of Yappers and token holders, ensuring sustainable engagement and value delivery in the Kaito AI ecosystem.
