A young man named Cameron Boxall, aged 22, has been sentenced to five years in prison after he confessed to kidnapping. In a terrifying incident near Brighton, a 20-year-old woman managed to thwart an abduction attempt by a man wearing a balaclava who forcibly pulled her into a stolen car on a street in Hove. The dramatic event, captured on camera, depicted Boxall’s attempt to abduct the woman as he dragged her into the back of a stolen Mini Cooper. Despite her resistance and screams of “no, no, no,” the woman bravely fought back by kicking and punching Boxall until he eventually pushed her out of the moving vehicle. Fortunately, she was able to seek assistance from a passerby. Boxall, who also admitted to stealing the car and possessing marijuana, was arrested and subsequently handed a five-year prison sentence after appearing in court. Additionally, he received a restraining order prohibiting contact with the victim. During the court proceedings, it was revealed that Boxall had altered the stolen car’s number plates and deliberately targeted the woman by pretending to ask for directions before attempting the abduction. The victim, traumatized by the ordeal, expressed her shock and disbelief at the violent attack, stating that she feels fortunate to have survived and that the incident has profoundly changed her perspective on the world.
